Salman Khan Announces New Film 'Battle Of Galwan'; Bloodied, Intense Look Impresses Fans

Post the failure of Sikandar, Salman Khan has finally treated fans with the announcement of his new film, a war action drama titled Battle of Galwan.

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia of Shootout At Lokhandwala, Mission Istanbul fame, Battle of Galwan first look poster features a blood-smeared Salman Khan in an Indian army uniform carrying a barbed wire baseball bat and giving an intense look.

Salman’s look in the film is reminiscent of his 2016 blockbuster Sultan.

Sharing the announcement poster, Salman Khan simply wrote, “Galwan Valley”. Check out the motion poster below:

Reacting to the first look poster, one social media user wrote, “Battle Of Galwan will mark the comeback of Salman Khan... This time, the content meets superstardom and there's no stopping for this film”.

Another social media user reacted, “100 percent we will cry in this movie for our brave soldiers.. Jai Hind”.

Besides Salman Khan, the film also stars Zeyn Shaw, Ankur Bhatia, Harshil Shah, Heera Sohall, Vipin Bhardwaj and Abhilash Chaudhary. The rest of the cast members are yet to be announced.

Battle of Galwan is based on the 2020 border conflict between Indian and Chinese troops and is touted as one of the most brutal battles fought without a single bullet being fired. This led to several casualties on both sides.
