What are Team India's winning chances?
India remains in a commanding position heading into the final day. Shubman Gill's men have bounced back in emphatic fashion at Edgbaston. Choosing to bowl first on a sun-baked surface may have backfired for England, as India piled on a mountain of runs over both innings.
Leading from the front, Gill produced a historic batting performance, scoring 269 in the first innings and following it up with 161 in the second. He became the first player in Test history to record a double century and a 150+ score in the same match. His staggering total of 430 runs helped India amass a combined total of 1014 runs the first time India has ever crossed the 1000-run mark in a Test match in 591 outings.
With a daunting target of 608 runs, England face an uphill battle on the final day, needing a miracle to survive and atleast draw the match. A tense and exciting finale at Edgbaston on the final day.
