LEGO is a timeless source of entertainment for all ages but primarily targets youngsters. While complete sets can quickly become pricey as little ones expand their collections, LEGO's latest addition promises endless fun without denting shopper's wallets.
Brick Like This! is a fresh-off-the-press board game designed to foster collaborative building. The gameplay involves teaming up in pairs, with one player selecting a design card and the other crafting the model based on verbal cues.
The game is meant to be high-speed, with teams racing against each other and the clock to finish their build first. With 92 distinct shape cards, each graded by difficulty level, it caters to a range of age groups - though LEGO suggests it's best suited for those aged seven and above.

This brand-new LEGO game is currently available at a lower price, thanks to a deal from TopCashback. Usually retailing at £22.99, new TopCashback members can enjoy an additional £15 cashback on their purchase, bringing the cost down to a mere £4.82 at John Lewis, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The box includes 48 unique LEGO bricks, all versatile enough to conjure up a myriad of designs. The board game aims to ignite the same creative spark that traditional boxes of bricks once did, veering away from the specific designs dictated by instruction manuals in most of today's sets.

To add a dash of unpredictability, the game includes challenge cards. There are 20 unique cards that can really mix things up, such as requiring players to build while blindfolded. Teams vie for points, with the victors being those who accumulate the most after six rounds. Each round is a brisk affair, typically lasting about 15 minutes, making it an ideal quick diversion for those drizzly weekends indoors.
While the game is new out, so there aren’t very many reviews available yet, shopping writer Narin Flanders was given an early peek at the game for the Secret Elves Club Christmas newsletter. She said: “Imagine Pictionary with Lego and that’s basically what you get with Brick Like This. A fast-paced party game perfect for families, players race to follow instructions to build models as described by their team mates.
“Easily learned, ideal for kids and an early content for the perfect Christmas game, we’ve spent hours playing it over the summer and it’s proved a popular choice for players from age six to 70.”
For those looking to introduce their children to a more classic board game with a LEGO twist, the renowned Danish toy company offers abuildable chess set. Once assembled, it serves both as a game and a decorative piece.

TheLEGO Brick Like This!party game has garnered an impressive 4.9-star rating on Amazon. A satisfied customer commented: "This is one of the most entertaining LEGO-based games I've played in a while.
"If you enjoy LEGO sets and want something more interactive, this game delivers." A second reviewer wrote: "Overall, this is a great game. Lego fans old and new will love this and it's a great family game to play around the table. We highly recommend this game for all ages, young and old."
Meanwhile, another added their thoughts: "We found it quite fun. It's not going to be an all night one as when you learn the shapes they become easier to describe, though there's plenty to learn."
However, not all feedback was glowing, with one critic pointing out the game's simplicity after a while: "Although there are enough bricks to play the cards, the game is a bit limited in extending or adapting with only 48 bricks," they noted. They suggested that including more bricks and designs would have been beneficial to maintain the game's appeal for longer periods.
Another gamer commented on the initial learning curve, suggesting it may pose a challenge for younger LEGO novices: "The game is pretty difficult. You have to be quick at giving or following instructions in 30 seconds.
"The trick is for you and your partner to really know the names of the anatomy of the bricks."
