King Charles's "hot equerry", Lieutenant Colonel Jonny Thompson, has made a new appearance today, and royal fans took notice.Major Jonny Thompson, often dubbed "Major Eye Candy" by royal fans for his brooding good looks, was carrying the King's wreath on Remembrance Sunday during the poignant ceremony at the Cenotaph in London.
Charles led the nation in honouring those who have died in conflict, dating back to World War 1. Wearing his Field Marshal uniform with a ceremonial frock coat, the monarch laid the first wreath at the monument and saluted before stepping back, after leading a two-minute silence.
On his way to the war memorial, Charles was joined by the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Edinburgh and the equerries carrying their wreaths.
One of them was Major Thompson, who is now a member of the 5th Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland.
Charles's "fabulous" aide has been making fans go wild during his appearances alongside the monarch, but was forced to move to a less "public-facing role" last year, reportedly because he did not like the attention he received.
Today, he was seen accompanying the monarch through the poignant ceremony.
He was also snapped by the monarch's side when the Royal Family attended the Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall on Saturday.
Fans were delighted to see the King's aide once again and took to social media to express their jubilation.
One user wrote on X: "I could look at photos of Jonny all day everyday! That's a MAN!"
Another one asked: "Is that the sexy Scotsman?"
A third one replied: "Yep it is Jonny Thompson the Scottish God !!"
A fourth one joked: "Oh to be his kilt [laughing face emoji.]"
A fifth one chimed: "There's the handsome equerry!"
Meanwhile, another one said on Instagram: "Jonny back in uniform, where he belongs, and doing what comes naturally! Have seen a lot of him lately, long may it continue."
