During the most recent episode of ITV's Lorraine, presenter Ranvir Singh detailed feeling 'guilty' as she gave an insight into her personal life.
The stand-in host, who recently took a swipe at Brooklyn Beckham, was speaking about the thousands of students getting their A-Level results in order to get into university.
However, with the rising cost of education and AI potentially threatening jobs, the ITV star was debating whether or not attending university is worth it.
Broadcaster Sonali Shah touched on AI and the jobs people should now consider, with many future jobs being created due to the developing technology.
She said: "The key things are jobs requiring kids to be human! Human centric roles, health care professionals, teachers, there are still going to be a need for that.
"You can't be taught everything online. Tech and data roles, software engineers and even creative roles like writers and content creators, because we're still not there with AI."
Sonali told Ranvir that parents need to focus on ensuring that their children can have a conversation with people.
She said:" I chat to 17 and 18 year olds all the time, not all of them can hold a conversation anymore.
"Because their parents are phones and they're on phones. What we need to be teaching our kids is how to be human as that can't be replaced."
However, Ranvir interjected as she made a confession about her own technology habits.
The Lorraine star said: "Can I just say, I feel terribly guilty because sometimes my son's in his bedroom upstairs and I'm in the kitchen and I text him to say, 'Can you just come down now?'
"I don't even shout up the stairs anymore, it's ridiculous, isn't it? I am to blame, I mean, you're so right."
Lorraine is available to watch on ITVX
