
A number of high-profile corporate bosses are accompanying Donald Trump on next week's state visit to the UK. This includes the boss of the world's most valuable public company Nvidia, the chipmaker, Sam Altman, the boss of OpenAI, Larry Fink of BlackRock and Stephen Schwarzman, Blackstone's chief. Invites have also been sent to Tim Cook, the Apple chief executive and Jamie Dimon, the JP Morgan boss.
However, a notable absentee from the invite list is the world's richest man Elon Musk, the Tesla owner and former Senior Advisor to the President of the United States. Mr Trump will make the unprecedented second state visit to the UK on September 17. The invitation of US tech and finance giants has now fueled expectations that a number of corporate deals and investments in the UK will be unveiled.
