NEW DELHI: Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu rolled out the red carpet and praised PM Narendra Modi , marking a significant turnaround in relations over the last two years. First of all let me convey my heartiest congratulations to your excellency (Modi) on becoming the second-longest serving Prime Minister of India today. This remarkable milestone for 4,078 consecutive days in office is a testament to your unwavering commitment to public service and dedication to the progress and prosperity of the Indian people," Muizzu said. Muizzu and Modi inaugurated the newly constructed the defence ministry of Maldives in Male.
